The placing of any orders with The Contemporary Candle Company Ltd either verbally, in writing or via our website shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The purchase of products from the website is governed by these terms and conditions. By submitting an order you agree to our company’s terms and conditions, which are based upon current main online shopping regulations. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.
We reserve the right to change / update the products and prices on the website at any time and without notice.
All goods are subject to availability and we will endeavour to inform the customer of any items that are unavailable as soon as possible.
All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) charged at 20%. Orders cancelled prior to payment process that have been picked and packed will incur a 20% handling charge to cover labour costs.
Delivery of orders is usually within 2-5 working days from receipt of payment and subject to availability. Any time or date for delivery of goods is an estimate only and given in good faith, we will make every endeavour to comply with delivery dates. We will not be liable for any late or non delivery or performance of all or any part of goods ordered. Breakage Claims, Incorrect Orders and Goods Not Received
If the goods supplied are damaged or are not what you ordered, The Contemporary Candle Company shall have no liability to you unless you notify us of the problem by 4pm on the day after delivery. All original packaging and damaged items must be kept until the claim has been reported and appropriate action decided.
If goods are not received within 7 working days from the order/invoice date please notify us.
Notification of Breakage Claims, Incorrect Orders and Goods Not Received should be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and it should be made clear if replacements or a refund are required. Once these conditions have been met, The Contemporary Candle Company’s obligation will be to issue replacement goods for non-deliveries and damaged goods. Refunds are at the discretion of the Company.

We accept payments via email@example.com Cheque orders will not be processed until payment has been cleared. All prices are inclusive of VAT and we reserve the right to amend prices otherwise stated. The total cost of your order is the price of the products plus delivery charge as quoted on the delivery page of the website and also on your order confirmation. The displayed price on the order confirmation is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.
Law & Territory
These Terms and Conditions and your use of our website are goverened by English Law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights. This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
Free delivery for orders over £40.
Delivery charges for orders delivered within mainland UK are based on order value as follows:
Upto £39.99 = £3.50 Delivery
£40.00 and over = Free Delivery
Dependant on the size and weight, goods will be by post or courier.
Orders will be despatched within 24 hours of receipt of payment and order confirmation. However, please allow upto 5 working days for delivery, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.
We are able to deliver to outside mainland UK, however a surcharge may apply. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will advise you further.
